My First Impression of Kalpa

Kalpa is one of those lovely towns that I really like in Himachal Pradesh. It’s surrounded by snow-capped mountains and apple orchards. It’s a very small town with only a few inhabitants.

It’s a great place to relax and unwind after all the hectic vagabonding days in other parts of North India.

There’s nothing much to do in Kalpa but visit a couple of temples, be mesmerized by it’s beauty and let time pass by. There’re no touts that will hassle you nor vendors that will offer you to buy this and that.

Most tourists go to Kalpa and spend a day or two and some spends longer time by doing short treks in the surrounding area.
