My First Impression of Sarahan

Sarahan is a small town in Himachal Pradesh, India that was supposed to be just a one day stop for us but we ended up staying for a week due to the relaxing and laidback vibe that this town has.

Sarahan is a famous for the Bhimakali Temple which is dedicated to one their Goddesses. Tourists often just spend a day or two to explore Bhimakali Temple.

Aside from the said temple, Sarahan is also a nice place to just walk around and meet local Himachal people. The town is very small and it’s very easy to navigate it on foot.

Here are some pictures that I took in Sarahan:

Kasang Guesthouse: Hostel we stayed in Sarahan. They make great momos (Tibetan Dumplings)!!!

Sarahan is also a nice place to spot a variety of colorful birds as the town is surrounded with lush vegetations which attracts them. Check it out. I’m sure that you’ll have a very relaxing time in Sarahan.
