"Every month, we will bring people there. Help distribute goodies, food or whatever that can help the community. We want to educate the mothers and give livelihood projects to their parents. We need help and a team of committed volunteers. I’m just a simple travel blogger, I just want to make people know what’s there but with regards to community development, I’m sure there are lots of people who are more knowledgeable than me. So if you are passionate and committed to do something that can change the world, welcome to the team." - Journeying James

If I did that for as long as he did, they’d probably cut the tree down… I mean I’m pretty awesome, but not that awesome.
haha i wouldnt be able to do that as well
Brilliant photo. This is the exact spot Buddha used to sit and think. I used to collect fallen leaves from the tree. Very tranquil place. I belong to the state of Bihar where Buddha came from. I am glad you posted this image.
Hey Flip, sorry it’s been a while. I totally forgot about the chapter you asked me to write. If you still need it, let me know. Again, really sorry, totally “flipped” my mind. Got drugged in thailand right after you contacted me and it really did something bad to my memory. In any case, I always thought the tree of buddha was in Lumbini Nepal? Are there more than one? Best,
Leif
his birthplace is lumbini
