We saw this flower vendor at Mullik Ghat (one of the most photographed places in Calcutta). He’s selling small yellow flowers strung together. These flowers are usually found being offered in various temples in India.

I think they are called “genda” which is used in prayers as offering to the gods.

You are most welcome. These “genda ka phool” (the genda flowers) are very common in India and used extensively in prayers.
