February 2011 Wrap Up

I’ve been busy the past few days selling some of my stuff. The big ticket items are already sold to one of my friends and some small items are still up for grabs.

Nothing much is going on with me except for the selling of my stuff and I also haven’t taken care of my Chinese Visa yet. I’ll do that within this week since I promise myself that I won’t go to Resort’s World anymore to play slots until I finish taking care of my visa.

Anyway, here’s what happened last February in Flipnomad.

I wrote about “You Get Hurt when You Swim Against the Current” to express what I’m currently feeling in my decision to aim for a location independent lifestyle. After much contemplation though, I realized that you get hurt regardless of what you do because it’s a fact of life.

I also wrote about my perspective about the ongoing campaign here in the Philippines against mining in Palawan.

I also had a chance to interview some great travel bloggers that you should follow such as Marcelo Arrambide of the Wandering Trader, Keith Savage of the Traveling Savage, Amanda Villaruel of Backpacking Tips Asia and Johnny Ward of One Step 4ward.

I also wrote about some nice and cheap travel gears that I found in Manila such as, adapters, waterproof pouch, security pouch and medicine kit.

I also hosted some posts about various places such as: Cape Town and London. I also hosted some useful posts about finding a cheap flights to London and saving through booking villas.

And since it’s the month of love, I wrote something that could help you guys save money while enjoying a romantic date with your friends or love ones.

By the way, ExplorePH came out with a Metro Manila guide that you should check out.

Oh’ and my suggies gave birth to twins last Feb 12. Sad that I have to let them go though since I’m leaving this end of March.

It’s getting close to day you’re taking off. I’m glad you’ve been good at getting rid of your stuff. I know it can be a little hard for some people to sell everything.
