I’ve been procrastinating lately. Maybe because I’ve been hanging out with my friends lately in Resorts World. I hate to say this, but now I understand why people get addicted to gambling.
Who doesn’t want that chance to get instant money right? Good thing I could still control it and I just stick with my budget.
Yesterday morning I was playing Life of Luxury and won a small amount and moved to another machine. A lady sat on my previous station and guess what, she got the P597K or $12K Jackpot. It could have been me if I didn’t move to another machine.
Now I know why people gamble, it looks like an easy way to get rich… although to be honest… it’s not really that easy. As I have said above it’s a game of chance.
As I was sitting comfortably on one of the chairs, observing everything happening around me, I realize that the biggest gamble of all is our life.
Our decisions are like bets that we place hoping that would win the jackpot. We studied in college so that we could have more chances of getting a job. We worked hard so that we could get a promotion. We do small decisions every day that we all hope could make our lives better.
Life is a game of chance.
You need to risk to get what you’re aiming for.

No point thinking ‘what-ifs’. Life happens and not everything needs to be a gamble. I hope you don’t end up getting addicted. Blogs are a far safer option to get addicted to
i agree corinne
That is so true… life is a game of chance and if we DONT take them then we aren’t playing at all.
Life is the GAME and we are its players.. you may end up losing and you may end up winning.. but for all its worth, we should enjoy it no matter what..
thinking about it! by the way, let me know how’s your Chinese visa coming up?
Life really is a series of risks that we take. Hopefully we get one to pay off big. I think the best thing you can do is just get in there and continue trying. If you sit back and wait for something big to happen to you, it never will. Life really is a game of chance.
so true man… we cant sit down and wait… we have to get out there to encounter those opportunities…
I’m about to quit my job soon to travel for a few months. It’s been a year-long project of mine saving up and preparing for the trip. I’ve resigned from a previous company before but this time around it seems a little bit different. Probably because I don’t have another job waiting. But I’m also excited because I love traveling and I just know that I have to do it now. And this entry of yours and all your travel stories remind me that the risk is going to be worth it. Thanks for sharing to us your stories and thoughts, Flip! Keep inspiring people to travel!
thanks for dropping by angge… you can always find an alternative source of income online and you may try building sources of passive income as well
