How did you discover your passion for travelling?
“I think I was born with the wanderlust. My earliest and fondest memories have always centered around travel experiences.”
What’s the most horrible experience that you’ve had on the road?
“A loose boulder on a narrow trekking path in the Himalayas had me plunging towards sure death. I am alive entirely due to the intervention of a thicket of thorny bushes that broke my free-fall…!”
What’s the best travel experience that you’ve ever had?
“For me, each travel experience is unique and special.”
What’s the biggest realization that you’ve got out of travelling?
“That nature is supreme. My regard for it has multiplied manifold.”
What keeps you motivated?
“Anticipation. Of a new place. Of a new experience. Of learning.”
This is a silly and hypothetical one. If you would be given a chance to travel with a popular person or a celebrity, who would it be and why?
“Why not pose this query to a celebrity? Asking them what kind of a travel companion they would like..?! After all, travellers are special too.”
What could stop you from travelling?
“Passing on…!”
Among the places that you’ve been to, which one fascinated you the most?
“Too many to name. If I had to really pick one, it would have to be the lunar-scaped Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh.”
What’s the best travel advice that you could give a novice traveler?
“Equip yourself with as much info as you can regarding your intended destination. Then sit back and wait for the moment when even that won’t be enough.”
