HotelClub UK Accommodation will Leave You Spoiled for Choice

With many British tourists, the trend is turning away from visiting continental Europe, the Mediterranean or the Americas. Now, it is the staycation’ that is the sophisticated and exciting alternative for a relaxing getaway, and with HotelClub UK accommodation available in the finest cities that Britain has to offer, you are spoiled for choice when it comes to deciding which city you wish to stay in. Plus, with impressive rail routes allowing you to see more of the UK on a shoestring budget, you could get far more out of your holiday than you first envisioned.

If you were born and bred in England, you might want to broaden your horizons and head up north to Scotland. Yes, we might share an island and a currency with the Scots, but this is where the similarities end, and you have plenty of new tastes, styles and sights ahead of you. By booking Aberdeen hotels, you’ll have the opportunity to entice your senses with brand new experiences you won’t find anywhere else.

His Majesty's Theatre

So, what comes recommended in Aberdeen? Well, first of all, His Majesty’s Theatre is the ideal retreat for thespians who want to indulge in the some of the finest drama that Scotland has to offer. The tickets are less expensive than you would envisage, and in addition to plays that come alive on the stage, innovative new concepts like the Balletboyz have been capturing the imagination of cultured locals and tourists alike. In this production, choreographed by Paul Roberts, a leading force in the dance routines of 21st-century girl bands, a tantalising sense of reality is brought to the world of dance, as the nine performers in this group were hand-picked from open auditions, and there is behind-the-scenes footage for the audience to enjoy. For those who don’t want to miss out on great musical scores and cinema when they go to Aberdeen, the Balletboyz is the perfect opportunity to see different mediums of art come together, and the show has received critical acclaim from two national newspapers.

However, if this isn’t to your taste, there is plenty more to see. We all know that one of the obvious advantages of a staycation is the chance to take your beloved pets with you in the car, and with striking attractions of natural beauty such as the Kirkhill Forest and Tyrebagger Wood, you will be able to experience the serene and breathtaking views of Aberdeen that many other tourists miss. Why not walk your dog along the assortment of designated walking routes that the forest has to offer, or, if you prefer something more extreme, visit the biking area or the numerous caves that are scattered through the woods’ extensive grounds. Visiting the Kirkhill Forest and Tyrebagger Wood is a welcome escape to a different world, and even though it is conveniently close to one of Aberdeen’s main dual carriageways, the whirring of nearby traffic can’t be heard easily from within.

If you want to try and visit somewhere across the pond, hotels in Belfast come in all shapes, sizes and star ratings. Some of the more prominent accommodation options for you to enjoy during your Irish break include the Radisson Blu Hotel, a venue from a range of hotels that are architecturally-striking with a chic design and many luxurious amenities for guests. The on-site restaurant, Filini, offers a perspective of Italian food that is largely neglected by many other eateries, with their Sardinian offerings including hearty soups, delectable artichokes and sumptuous meats cooked over a spit-roast.

It’s understandable that different holidaymakers have varying budgets. Not only is it easier to find cheap hotel rooms on the Internet through price-competitive travel websites, but you may be able to find upmarket suites that are within your price range; heavily discounted from the recommended retail price. There is nothing more satisfying than finding a great bargain while browsing on the Internet, and by doing your research well in advance of your getaway to Northern Ireland, you won’t be disappointed with what you find.

Are you only visiting Belfast for the weekend? If so, don’t despair, as there are plenty of attractions to visit while you are there, and many are open on Sundays. For historical fiends, there is a poignant and informative memorial to the two world wars, and it is a worthwhile consideration if you have children who are studying the subject in school, with the educational programme offered information and resources that are tailored to the curriculum. The Northern Ireland War Memorial is based within the city centre, and the location of the attraction was carefully selected because it was bombed during the blitz at the beginning of the 40s. Meanwhile, if you and your partner share a passion for artefacts and research, the extensive libraries housed within the museum will offer the perfect starting place for your journey of discovery.

Alternatively, if history is an interest only your partner shares, you might prefer to opt for a brief trip to the spa, where 45-minute and 60-minute sessions of facials and massages are readily available without appointment. If you are tense because work has been getting you down, there are plenty of imaginative deals that will allow your body to unwind, and it could improve your overall health in the process. Many spas across Belfast include innovative technology such as Drywave massage beds, technology which uses the healing power of water without getting you wet in the process. The effects can be felt instantly, and offer the perfect interlude before you begin your treatments.

Whether you choose Belfast or Aberdeen, you won’t be disappointed with the charisma and the choice of attractions that lie ahead of you. If you are spoiled for choice and remain indecisive, why not plan journeys for both of these wonderful cites?
