Three Smart Ways to Afford Luxury Hotel Stays

Are you thinking of staying in a nice hotel to relax and get away from the hustle of city living? It would be very easy to do so if we have all the money in the world, right? Maybe you’re thinking that you could only do this once in a blue moon.

But if you make some research on the internet, you could actually afford to have more hotel stays without breaking the bank.

Here are some tips on how to do that:

Buy Membership instead of Booking One Night

Three Smart Ways to Afford Luxury Hotel Stays

The cost of hotel membership for some hotels is almost near the price of booking a one night stay. Let’s take this for example, if you book a Junior Suite at Discovery Suites, it would cost you around P4400++ for a night. If you buy a Discovery Lifestyle Membership, it will cost you around P6800 and you get a One Night Complimentary Stay, Rebate Certificates and Discounts on your succeeding stays not only in Discovery Suites but also with their partner hotels. It also entitles you to huge discounts on dining with their partner restaurants too. And the privileges are valid for 12 months! Check the internet for other hotel membership offers.

Buy Last Minute Hotel Gift Certificates

Last December 2008, a friend of mine was able to buy a Shangri-La 3D-2N gift Certificates with buffet breakfast and dinner certificates for only P10K. It’s very cheap considering the actual price of a night’s stay in Makati Shangri-La. The reason for such cheap price, the certificates will expire in a few months’ time and the owner won’t be able to use it. You will find a lot of these deals thru your local online classified ads. Be very careful though and exercise due caution in transacting online.

Join Online Contests

Different companies are actively engaged in social media networks like Twitter and sometimes they do offer promotions to increase their online visibility to potential customers. They do host online contests and give away free accommodations

, free flights and othe various freebies. If you’re a travel fanatic, make sure that you always check the FB Fan Page of various travel related companies so you’ll be the first to know if they have such contests.
